May 10, 2010 - Team Tryouts for 2010 - 2011 Season. Try-out location will be at the StoneBridge Church gym (Research Forest & Branch Crossing). Try-out fee is: $75.00. A parent must attend the try-out with their player to complete paperwork.

The Select1 Volleyball Club's team colors are black, pink and white. It is recommended that the volleyball court shoes / sneakers purchased by players have a black design on a white shoe.
Ankle braces are not required but are highly recommended for players by the Select1 Volleyball Club. A study of high school and college volleyball players demonstrated that the use of ankle braces by these athletes virtually eliminated ankle injuries on the court - whether in practice or in tournaments. Ankle injuries are very painfull and can put a player out of action for up to 6 weeks, to the detriment of both the player and the team. Ankle braces are really the only pieces of protective gear worn by volleyball players. Please consider having your player use them.
